There are two women and their very capable staff who helped me over the years with the care and maintenance of Joe. The guy had many medical crises during his life. Dr. Patricia Lane, in her quiet, gentle, knowledgeable way, preformed the duties of a true "Cat Whisperer". Her expertise and the quality of her care is unsurpassed.

After our move to Greensboro, I was blessed to find Dr. Ann Mitchell and her wonderful staff to carry on the superior quality of care I had received in Atlanta. Dr. Mitchell was extraordinarily kind and caring in Joe's last days. For that I'm eternally grateful. I would never have gotten through the tough decisions without her.

These two women will remain heroes in my heart forever... This web site is dedicated to them.

"Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis, all moments are key moments and life itself is grace."
